Set up in 1997 Thirsk & District Model Railway Group meet on the third Tuesday of every month in the church hall behind the Roman Catholic Church, Castlegate Thirsk, North Yorkshire. We are a friendly bunch with a wide range of interests and modelling abilities.

 

At our meetings we aim to have a speaker who will give a talk on either some modelling technique or prototype topic, all this over plenty cups of tea. Several of our members are active on the exhibition circuit with layouts in OO, EM and O gauge. But don’t let this put you off, we welcome anyone with an interest in railway modelling whatever their skill level.
